A couple living in the Porta Venezia area of Milan is looking for an experienced Educator/Governess (English mother-tongue, English speaking with no foreign accent. Extra language a plus: French and or Italian) to care for their 2 children, 1 baby girl 4 yo and 1 boy 2 yo. They are looking for a responsible and experienced individual.
Main Responsibilities:
Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM.
- Creating a daily routine, including age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Activity Logistics: Pool and music for the boy, the girl is at school from 8 am to 4pm.
- Facilitate and supervise sports, music lessons, or other extracurricular activities. Ensure both children develop their skills in a fun, encouraging manner.
- Teaching Responsibility: encourage children to learn and perform basic chores (e.g., tidying up, organizing toys) in an age-appropriate way.
- Boundary Setting and Role Modelling: establish clear, respectful boundaries with the children, guiding them through personal example.
- Communication: reading, communication while playing
Availability to travel – but not mandatory
Required: Proven experience in similar jobs.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6:00 PM (1-2 hours break possible)
